"Extend our thanks to Kerry. It took my breath away hearing her play with her daughter, it was just what Juliet and I imagined might be wonderful to happen in the installation - had I not been busy taking photos I’m not sure I would have contained my emotions! She played with such feeling and it felt like she was reading a score from the room - or tapping into all that it had to offer in a magical way."

"It was a pleasure to work with Kerry. She creatively listens to ideas.
Right from the initial sharing of thoughts for sounds and music for my different exhibition spaces to hearing her fulfil her commission was lovely.
Having arrived early she relaxed into the space with sounds that moved and drifted into our conversations and quiet viewing of the work on show.
Music filtered through the space and out around the garden played in a cheerful and engaging manner.
The poetic folk art of her violin gave me the confidence to recite my poetry, confirming our shared openness to the unfolding event."

Musical Director For Theatre Of The Dales
As Musical Director for Theatre of the Dales I composed music for A Christmas Carol, A Winter's Tale, Midsummers Night's Dream and The Merchant of Venice. We performed in Jervlaux Abbey, Sledmere House, Kirkstall Abbey and Knaresborough Castle. Performing in these shows involved playing various instruments to accentuate the tension during the performance and to ease the flow of entrances and exits of the performers.
"Kerry's music has been a boon to Theatre of The Dales in the past, we've always enjoyed working with her."
David Robertson - Director of Theatre of the Dales
"There is an international tribe of uncommonly gifted musicians who make music from sound as diamond refracts light. All the colours of the heart's seasons are there and glowing rose red in the centre is Love, the constant true feeling transcending all others.
Kerry played the violin once, in a stone church on Bardsey Island, during an Easter weekend. The strings lamented an unbearable loss, the music carried an energy that plunged into the abyss of grief, then mended the sadness until it soared from the depths of sorrow towards joy, exhilaration and resurrection, victory of light over darkness. This was an unforgettable experience for the listeners. She is, quite simply, an extraordinary talent."
